The Hikime teapot was created by the famous Japanese cast iron specialist and designer, Hisanori Masuda.
The pure, streamlined design of the pot reflects the artist's constant goal to reconcile beauty and functionality, tradition and modernity, elegance and simplicity. The raw and matt finish of the cast-iron provides the perfect backdrop to the tiny flecks of enamel which are used as decoration.
This model is enamelled: the interior surfaces are coated in a protective, food-safe varnish.
Supplied with stainless steel filter.
