For this Advent calendar, we have selected 7 Grands Crus and 17 single-origin teas from the finest gardens and terroirs. A delicious tour of the world in 24 destinations to discover the best of tea. It is perfect as a gift or for yourself before the Holiday season.
Prepare your tea carefully
For each tea, we provide specific preparation advice, origin notes and even a few surprise facts! These precious teas are protected in individual miniature tins. To open the tin, press the centre of the lid. Depending on the tea, each one contains between 2g and 4g of loose leaves, the ideal amount for one person. Make sure you follow the preparation instructions on the back of each tin to bring out the best of the tea.
Quantity of tea leaves
2g is the right amount for one cup: between 10 cl and 15 cl of tea. With 4g you can prepare a small teapot of 25 cl.
Water temperature
A Japanese green tea should be steeped in water at 70°C to bring out all its delicious notes, while a Chinese black tea needs water at 85°C to be perfectly balanced. Make sure you follow the indications on water temperature to enjoy the best tasting experience.
Infusion time
Follow the recommended infusion time to ensure the tea develops all its characteristics and is not too weak or strong.
