This black tea is made in the Annapurna plantation, in Pokhara, Nepal. "Muscatel" teas have unique characteristics thanks to the tea Jassid, an insect that feeds on sap, thereby triggering a defensive reaction in the tea plants and creating unique notes.
This autumnal black tea reveals notes of muscat, wood and cocoa, with a powdery texture giving its notes a long, intense finish.
Appearance: small twisted leaves and buds
Colour: amber
Texture: powdery
Flavour: sweet
Notes: woody, fruity (muscat, yellow fruits), cocoa, honey, spicy, floral hints
Prepare this tea warm:
With a teapot or a tasting set: 4 minutes in water heated to 85°C (185°F).
Prepare this tea iced:
In a teapot or a carafe: infuse 8 g of leaves per 50 cl of water at room temperature for 45 minutes. Remove the leaves and store in the fridge.
