Description
The washi canisters celebrate Japanese artisanal crafts and are hand-covered with traditional mulberry paper. This paper features the Asanohamotif, a popular traditional Japanese design representing a hemp leaf.
Hemp is a very hardy plant and its leaves often feature in patterns on children’s kimonos as a symbol of vigour and strength. The gold pattern combined with bright colours gives the canister a modern look, ideal for the festive season.
They feature a double lid to keep tea in perfect condition. The washi canisters come in two sizes: 100g and 150g.
Boxes’ sizes:
100g = 12.4x6.5cm
150g = 15.3x7.5cm
To mark the 2025 holiday season, Palais des Thés’ ever-popular washi canisters come in special festive finishes. Four other designs make up the collection : Matsu, Full moon, Blooming mountains and Golden Kanoko.
