Description
This tea, from the first harvest of the year, comes from the city of Shibushi, in the south of Kagoshima prefecture. It is produced by mister Ichiji from the asanoka cultivar, famed for its roundness and natural umami profile.
A fully rounded ichibancha which develops iodised, vegetal and marine notes followed by hints of butter and milk.

Suggestion of preparation
Prepare this tea warm:
With the teapot or the tasting set: 3 minutes in water heated to 160°F.
With the kyusu or the shiboridashi: 12 g / 12 cl
- 1st infusion: 120°F - 1 minute
- 2nd infusion: 120°F - instantaneous
- 3rd infusion: 120°F - 30 seconds
Prepare this tea iced:
In a teapot or a carafe: infuse 8 g of leaves per 50 cl of water at room temperature for 30 minutes. Remove the leaves and store in the fridge.
Using kooridashi method: melt 4 ice cubes over 10 g tea in a kyusu or shiboridashi.
