Description
Dan cong ("single tea shrub" in Mandarin) is native to Guangdong province and is identifiable by its large brown twisted leaves with copper highlights. This oolong is made using the mi lan xiang cultivar, whose name means "honey orchid fragrance".
An excellent Grand Cru with floral, honeyed and vanilla notes as well as mango fragrances, which develop against an elegant powdered texture. A pure refinement!

Suggestion of preparation
Prepare this tea warm:
With the gong fu cha (recommended for the best tasting experience): infusions during 30-40 seconds.
With the teapot or the tasting set (not recommended, as the tea may become astringent): 5 minutes in water heated to 90°C / 195°F.
Prepare this tea iced:
In a teapot or a carafe: infuse 8 g of leaves per 50 cL of water at room temperature for 1 hour. Remove the leaves and store in the fridge.
