Description

A highly rare Bancha Hojicha: this roasted green tea has been placed in contact with cypress needles to produce a unique Grand Cru. It is harvested in Ashikubo, Shizuoka Prefecture, using the Yabukita cultivar.

This roasted tea reveals toasted, woody and vanilla fragrances which develop against a wonderfully rounded texture. A rare, endlessly sweet Hojicha.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

Suggestion of preparation

With the tasting set: 3 minutes in water heated to 90°C.
