Description

This Grand Cru is not made from the traditional Camellia Sinensis tea plant, but from a different shrub called Camellia Taliensis. This species, native only to Yunnan, stands out through its ability to produce buds with multiple branches. Camellia Taliensis is also known as Ya Bao Cha, or simply the “wild tea plant”. With a production process similar to Mao Cha, this rare, one-of-a-kind tea is produced from "vintage" Gu Shu tea plants on Ailao mountain. A one-of-a-kind Grand Cru!

A silky tea with intense fruity fragrances, which intertwine with vegetal, mineral and toasted notes. Its sweet flavour has an umami aftertaste.
