Harusaki cup - 14 cl

This porcelain cup is decorated with cherry blossoms, or harusaki in Japanese, associated with the arrival of spring. The pattern is printed on thin, flexible paper, then transferred onto the cup. This demands a rare skill and high precision possessed by just a few craftsmen like Mr Tsuchimoto.
