Huang Shan Mao Feng is one of the most famous Chinese green teas. Its name refers to its place of production, the yellow mountains, and the finesse of the harvest, referred to as “Mao Feng”. An exquisite green tea from the province of Anhui.

An elegant and complex spring tea from China. Its mineral, floral and almond notes develop gradually against a rich, very smooth texture.

In order to bring out all the aromatic complexity of this tea, we recommend multiple infusions using the traditional Chinese Gong Fu Cha method.

To go further:
This renowned Grand Cru is grown in soil with ideal climate conditions. The tea plants are harvested at between 400 and 600 metres above sea level along a mountain range with peaks reaching up to 1,864 metres, which often disappear behind the clouds. Yun Wu ("cloudy and misty") tea plants grow in this very humid region.
Huang Shan Mao Feng also owes its reputation to the delicacy of its crop and its production method: only one bud and the first leaf are picked then rolled by hand to obtain the unique shape, reminiscent of a light green and golden sparrow’s tongue.
