Description
This kabuse is made from the renowned yabukita cultivar. A few days before harvesting, the tea plants are covered over. This light deprivation causes theanine to build up in the leaves, and results in a complex range of fragrances. This Grand Cru comes from the city of Kirishima, located in Kagoshima region in Japan.
A spring green tea with a delicate umami texture which reveals powerful vegetal, floral and buttery notes, enhanced by a subtly powdered texture.
