Kabuse tea is a shaded tea: ten days before harvesting, the tea plants are covered over. Thus deprived of light, the flavour builds up in the leaves, resulting in highly soft teas. It is made in a region near Mount Fuji.

With the tasting set: 2' minutes in water heated to 160°F.
