Description
This black tea is made in the region of Guria and undergoes oxidation in a large earthenware wine jar (Kvevri), which Georgians use for fermenting grapes. This oxidation gives the tea a fruity note of unmatched quality, which brings to mind blackberries.
A characterful black tea with woody, dark berry and mineral notes which develop against a subtle astringency.
