This Grand Cru is harvested in the valley of Ilam. It comes from a small nature reserved called Mai Pokhari, which is considered sacred in the Hindu and Buddhist faiths. The tea garden took its name from the reserve. This black tea is from a second flush. It is produced by Mr Man Kumar Mukhiya.
