Description

This Ichibancha ("first tea") is made on the island of Tanegashima, on the southern edge of Japan. It is produced by Mister Matsushita. This tea is made from a very rare cultivar known as Shoju, which is the most early-blooming in the country.
The first spring sencha of the year is a delight thanks to its vegetal, buttery and marine notes which melt into a round and oily texture.
