Originating from Kagoshima, this ichibancha made from the Yabukita cultivar is produced by Itaru Kawaji. He cultivates his tea plants on volcanic soil, continuing the work of his grandfather, who established the tea garden there over thirty years ago.
A tea of great elegance, this green tea boasts a particularly silky texture. Its flavour profile reveals notes of fresh greenery and cut grass, with hints of sea salt and butter.

Hot Tea Preparation:
Using a tasting set or teapot: Steep for 3 minutes in water at 70°C (160°F).
Traditional preparation: Ideal with a kyusu or shiboridashi.
Iced Tea Preparation:
Using a teapot or carafe: Infuse 8g of leaves in 50 cl of room-temperature water for 30 minutes. Remove the leaves and place in the refrigerator.
