Description
This tea is made in Kagoshima, on the island of Kyushu. It is made using the Benitachiwase cultivar, which is a old variety registered in 1953. First flushes, otherwise known as Ichibancha, are renowned for their complexity.
This cultivar, as well as its intensely fruity, peach and apricot notes, gives this Japanese tea a unique character.
This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
