This Grand Cru is harvested in the Cauca Valley, Colombia at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. Tea plants grow slowly in these conditions, which increases the concentration of fragrances. This region has been declared a nature reserve in Colombia.

This black tea reveals indulgent honey, cocoa and fruit notes, which develop against a smooth and very gentle texture.

This tea comes from a small farming community located at an altitude of 2100 metres. Made up of twenty workers, it works in harmony to guarantee access to drinking water, electricity and scholarship opportunities for all the inhabitants of the surrounding area. The dense morning fog encourages the tea bushes to grow slowly, while exposure to the sun in the middle of the day helps to subtly refine the tea’s fragrances.

The estate covers 200 hectares, but only 70 of these are dedicated to tea growing. This is due to the presence of wooded areas between the tea crops, creating a veritable nature reserve that is home to over 176 different species.
