Description
A Georgian tea designed for the gentlest of awakenings
Dila, which translates to "morning" in Georgian, is a black tea made from the Kimini cultivar, which originated in China. Although tea production in Georgia dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, the gardens were neglected when the country's instability brought agricultural activity to a halt. It is only in the last ten years or so that they have experienced a true renaissance.
The silky texture of this beautiful Georgian tea gracefully unfolds elegant honeyed notes and an infinitely sweet flavor.
Passionate producers revitalizing their terroir
Nika and Baaka are two Georgian friends who underwent a professional retraining in 2016, with the help of the government which wished to highlight tea production as a fundamental element of national culture once again, as it was at the beginning of the 20th century.
