Gyokuro is a shaded tea: three weeks before they are harvested, the tea bushes are deprived of light to encourage the development of an umami taste and a smooth texture. Its name means "Jade dew", a reference to its elegance and tenderness.
A generous and rich tea offering an oily texture and fruity, seafood and vegetal notes.
This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
