Description
Huang Shan Mao Feng is one of the most famous Chinese green teas. Its name refers to its place of production, the yellow mountains, and the finenesse of the harvest, referred to as Mao Feng. An exquisite Grand Cru from the province of Anhui.
This spring green tea is easy to infuse and drink, and reveals vegetal, floral, buttery and mineral notes which develop against a smooth, highly delicate texture.
TO GO FURTHER
‵‵Pre-Qingming′′ means that this tea was harvested just before the ‵‵festival of pure light′′ (festival of the deceased in China) and marks the beginning of the harvest of new season teas. All the teas harvested before this date are particularly prestigious because of the extreme fineness of the plucking and the tiny quantities that are produced.
In order to bring out all the aromatic complexity of this tea, we recommend multiple infusions using the traditional Chinese Gong Fu Cha method.
