The awakening of Nepalese spring in the heart of Panchthar
This rare Grand Cru comes from a boutique tea estate nestled in the mountains of Nepal at over 2,000 meters above sea level. It captivates instantly with its highly refined aromatic profile, where the freshness of its floral, vegetal, and fruity notes blends balance and indulgence with subtle almond and brioche accents. Upon infusion, its delicately rolled leaves reveal a magnificent golden liquor, offering a powdery texture complemented by a fine acidity on the palate.
This exceptional black tea originates from the Kalapani tea garden, a committed estate that recently achieved organic certification with the support of Palais des Thés. Harvested in the spring of 2026, this batch proudly carries its name "Basantah," which simply means "spring" in Nepalese. Crafted with care, it highlights the outstanding craftsmanship of its pluckers through beautifully rolled leaves, offering a moment of pure serenity.
