This Grand Cru comes from the town of Takaoka, which is located on the island of Kyūshū. It benefits from rich volcanic soil, which is ideal for growing tea plants. The cultivar used is the Meiryoku (a cross between the Yabukita and Yamatomidori cultivars).
A fresh and delicate Japanese tea characterised by a very round texture and soft gourmet and vegetal notes. This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

With the tasting set: 2 minutes in water heated to 70°C.
