This ichibancha is harvested in the spring in Soo, Kagoshima prefecture, Japan. It is made from the saemidori cultivar. During this period, the leaves are still tender, which gives this Grand Cru its delicious notes.

This highly round first flush sencha develops a delicate umami flavour, alongside vegetal, marine, butter and vanilla notes.

With the teapot or the tasting set: 3 minutes in water heated to 160°F. With the Kyusu or the Shiboridashi: 6 g / 12 cl
