A spring sencha
Located on the island of Kyushu, in southern Japan, Kagoshima offers an exceptional terroir dedicated to tea cultivation. This ichibancha — or first spring harvest — is crafted from the Yutakamidori cultivar, a variety renowned for its ability to deliver remarkably balanced aromas.
The flavour profile of this sencha combines the freshness of cut grass and fresh hazelnut with buttery and briny notes, all set against a delicately powdery texture.

Hot Tea Preparation:
Using a tasting set or teapot: Steep for 3 minutes in water at 70°C (160°F).
Traditional preparation: Ideal with a kyusu or shiboridashi.
Iced Tea Preparation:
Using a teapot or carafe: Infuse 8g of leaves in 50 cl of room-temperature water for 30 minutes. Remove the leaves and place in the refrigerator.
