Description

A sublime Grand Cru from Minjigina, in Papua New Guinea. It is harvested on the mountainside at over 1,500 metres above sea level. Its exceptional harvest is comprised entirely of highly regular buds. It is produced from Assamica tea plants.
This white tea is both rare and exceptional. Its fine, oily texture supports fruity, vanilla and floral fragrances, enhanced by a subtle sweet taste.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

What a delight! Thanks to Léo, my assistant tea traveller, we can now reveal our first tea from Papua New Guinea. And what a tea it is! A white tea made up entirely of buds. A true marvel. We would like to thank our Papuan friends.

Suggestion of preparation

With the tasting set: 10' minutes in water heated to 70°C.

With the Gong Fu Cha (teapot/Gaiwan): infusions during 30-40 secondes.
