This tea hails from the village of Gatanga. Harvested from the purple cultivar TRFK/306/1, it owes its unique color and antioxidant richness to a high anthocyanin content. Thanks to high-precision drying, this tea reveals a rare complexity.

Suggestion of preparation
Hot tea:
Using a tasting set or teapot: 4 minutes in 90°C (195°F) water.
Iced tea:
Steep 8g of leaves in 50cl of room-temperature water for 45 minutes. Remove the leaves and refrigerate.
