This compressed tea has powerful aromas combining notes of wood, fruit and liquorice.

Situated on Qingshan mountain in Hunan province, this farm of 38 hectares has been growing tea since 1950. It produces excellent teas using environmentally-friendly methods.

Hunan also makes dark teas, some of which become well-known. This tea is fixed, rolled, fermented, rolled again, dried, heated, shaped, and then fermented once more. It requires complex know-how, yet produces a tea that is very easy-drinking.
