Description

A spring Sencha from Tanegashima
This Ichibancha comes from Tanegashima Island, one of the southernmost islands of the archipelago. It is crafted by Mr. Matsushita. This tea is made from a very rare cultivar named Shoju, which is the earliest-sprouting tea bush in Japan.
The first spring Sencha of the year delights us with its vegetal, buttery, and marine aromas, which blend seamlessly into a round and oily texture.

Grands Crus: savour the exceptional

Rare and ephemeral, teas identified as Grands Crus by Palais des Thés are the result of alchemy between a tea plant variety, its terroir and the talent of an artisan grower. Meticulously plucked, processed and sourced in the most respected tea gardens, our Grands Crus unveil unique flavours that reflect the refinement of their origins.
