The Singbulli garden (which means “Bird’s House”), which we are familiar with now, is situated in Mirik (Darjeeling district) and covers 494 hectares. The climate there is ideal for growing tea, with a maximum of 30°C in summer and a minimum of 2°C in winter.

In terms of processing the leaves, the method is similar to that used for the spring harvest, except thatthe oxidisation of the leaves is more pronounced. Combined with the climatic factors, this produces a brown liquor in the cup, with opulent, woody, fruity aromas.

A rounded tea with a fine acidity, it is characterised by woody, waxy and honeyed notes with a long, burnt finish.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
