Description
The Singbulli garden (which means “bird’s house”), which we are familiar with now, is situated in Mirik (Darjeeling district) and covers 494 hectares. The climate there is ideal for growing tea, with a maximum of 30°C in summer and a minimum of 2°C in winter. This Grand Cru is a second flush made from the renowned AV2 cultivar. In terms of its production, leaves harvested during the summer undergo stronger oxidation than those of spring teas.
A sweet, powdery Grand Cru which reveals floral top notes, supported by wonderfully intense honeyed middle notes.
This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
