This Grand Cru is from Hebizuka, the "hill of snakes". This plot is one Japan's highest. This tea is made by Mr. Nakamura. Unlike most Japanese teas, Its leaves are harvested by hand. Local legends says the rocks of the Hebizuka tea garden are home to snakes.
