Description

This Grand Cru is harvested in the Lào Cai province, in the area surrounding the village of Ba Lien, at over 1,500 metres above sea level. It is produced from ancient tea plants known as Shan plants, which are maintained by the Tay people deep in the mountains. Its name, Xanh Lan, which may be translated as "rolled green tea", refers to the leaf shaping method, as it is carefully twisted.

Powerful and vibrant, this Vietnamese green tea with a powdery texture unveils notes of flint and lightly toasted hazelnuts against a vegetal core.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.
