Description
The Sasasa tea set by Japanese company Miyama comprises a teapot (0.75L) and two cups (200ml) in fine porcelain, decorated by hand using the artisanal technique, risen yaki. A sheet of Japanese paper (washi) is applied to the porcelain to obtain the delicate raised green motifs. The piece is then fired at a high temperature (1.340°C – 2.444°F), which gives the porcelain its beautiful white colour.
