An excellent spring flush with vegetal, butter and floral notes. It has a round, very silky texture with a pleasant umami taste.

This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

The Choice of Francois-Xavier Delmas

Tea sommelier Expert and Founder of Palais Des Thés

The city of Kagoshima is located on the southern tip of the island of Kyushu.Shiroyama park offers splendid views of Kagoshima bay and the nearby volcano, with a thick cloud rising out from above the latter three times a day. While travellers can catch a glimpse of the tea plantations just by travelling to the surrounding countryside, it is rare to find a Shincha of this quality.
