Description
The blue of this porcelain cup evokes aizome, the Japanese art of indigo-dyeing. This iconic colour is found on the clothes of warriors from the Sengoku period in particular.
Mr Hayashi uses a special glaze that develops unique highlights on each cup during the firing.
Advices
Not suitable for microwave use or dishwashers. It is best to wash the Aizome cup by hand to avoid any damage.
