Description
The Ibusuki cup takes its name from the colours of its glaze, which are reminiscent of Ibusuki beach in Japan, famous for its relaxing black volcanic sand.
It is skilfully crafted by Mr Hayashi, who applies two different glazes to each cup, which react in a unique way to the high temperature of the kiln.
Advices
Not suitable for microwave use or dishwashers. It is best to wash the Ibusuki cup by hand to avoid damaging it.
