Description

In the south of the Indian peninsula, the Nilgiri mountains form the country's second biggest tea-producing region. Produced by a garden situated at 1,500 to 2,000 metres above sea level, the leaves of this black tea were harvested in the winter.

This black tea stands out thanks to its vegetal, almond and floral notes, supported by a finely astringent texture that gives them a long finish.

Grands Crus: savour the exceptional

Rare and ephemeral, teas identified as Grands Crus by Palais des Thés are the result of alchemy between a tea plant variety, its terroir and the talent of an artisan grower. Meticulously plucked, processed and sourced in the most respected tea gardens, our Grands Crus unveil unique flavours that reflect the refinement of their origins.
