Description This stoneware cup made from red clay is finished with a turquoise brushstroke applied by Mr Hirai to the inside and outside.
The colours develop during firing and evoke the calm turquoise waters of Japanese hot springs, called onsen.
Advices Not suitable for microwave use or dishwashers. It is best to wash the Hirai cup by hand to avoid damaging the paint.
