This roasted twig tea made from stems, with its smooth texture and sweet notes of cooked fruit and toasted grain, is a perfect way to ease into bedtime.
It is produced from the tea plant stems that are harvested to make shaded tea: this is the highest quality Kukicha. Its unconventional manufacturing method involves roasting the tea in a similar way to the Bancha Hojicha (Hojicha means "roasted green tea").
This tea is grown organically and certified by Ecocert, an accredited independent certification body.

Suggestion of preparation
With the tasting set: 2' minutes in water heated to 90°C.
Also delicious iced: steep 8g/30OZ in 50cl of water at room temperature 30min.
Remove the tea leaves and refrigerate.
