Assam is located in the north-east of India and is celebrated for its black teas. The Brahmaputra river crosses this fertile valley, winding through the land and nourishing the Assamica tea plants. The Camellia Sinensis Assamica variety was discovered in this region in the nineteenth century by Major Robert Bruce. Since then it has been used to create teas with spicy notes and tannic tang.

I've been drinking this tea for the last 10 years at least on a daily basis. It's great for breakfast.
