The green glaze on this stoneware cup and its even undulations are inspired by a spring walk through a Yabukita tea plantation in Japan.
It is a testament to the skill of Mr Mizuno, who places the cups in a specific position in the kiln, where each one develops a unique character.
Not suitable for microwave use or dishwashers. It is best to wash the Yabukita cup by hand to avoid damaging it.
