Description
In Korea there is a wide range of herbal tea based on traditional medicine. The use of citrus peel goes back to the Song dynasty. These teas are valued both for their taste and for the beneficial qualities they offer. Produced by the Choi family.
This mandarin zest herbal tea reveals citrus and turmeric fragrances, which develop against an infinitely full-bodied texture.
Like dark tea, some mandarin peels called chenpi (or jupi) are aged to increase their potential. Some peels can fetch very high prices, depending on their age. Today, chenpi remain central to traditional Chinese medicine, and citrus fruits are powerful symbols of good luck and prosperity.
