This spring Mao Feng is harvested in the mountains, and unveils floral, mineral and hazelnut notes, which develop against an elegant powdered texture.
It is harvested in Hubei province. Its name, Mao Feng, is given to high-quality teas that contain many buds. The leaves of this artisan tea are harvested in the Spring before being delicately twisted in the classic style of Chinese green tea.
Jade Mao Feng is organically grown and has been certified by Ecocert, an approved independent inspection body. It is an excellent alternative to organic Mao Feng Imperial and organic Yuncui Imperial, which are no longer available. Fresh and elegant, Organic Mao Feng Jade has a more floral and fruity profile than Imperial Mao Feng, and is rounder in the mouth than Imperial Yuncui.
