Ajisai Teapot - 45 cl

This porcelain teapot is finished in a mottled glossy glaze inspired by blue hydrangeas, or ajisai in Japanese, which bloom during the rainy season.

With its stainless steel filter and a 45 cl capacity, it allows the full aromatic richness of the tea to develop during brewing. It serves the equivalent of four cups, for yourself or to share.

Together with one or more Ajisai cups, it makes a set that will delight fans of Japanese craftsmanship.

Made in Japan by Mr Akihiro Ito, its blue glints are a result of the glaze reacting to the high temperature in the kiln, and are unique to each teapot.

This teapot comes with a stainless steel filter and has a bamboo handle.
