The beneficial plants in this infusion

  • Organic St. John’s wort
    Hypericum perforatum

A perennial plant studded with many small, bright yellow flowers, St. John's wort was considered by ancient druids to be a blessed plant whose smell drove away evil spirits, hence its alternative name, The Devil’s Scourge. The plant helps balance the emotions and promotes relaxation. It is  widely used in Germany for its therapeutic benefits. St John’s wort can be recognised by the many dots visible on its leaves when held up to the light.

  • Organic holy basil
    Ocimum tenuiflorum

Also known as tulsi, holy basil has been used for centuries in India, where it is often grown near Buddhist temples. It is described as an adaptogenic plant because it helps the body adapt to stress. Tulsi contains antioxidants and has many benefits, including promoting vitality.

  • Organic schisandra berries
    Schisandra chinensis

Known as Wu Wei Zi, the five-flavour berry, this climbing plant native to China has been used for thousands of years, particularly for the antioxidant properties of its fruit. Schisandra is described as an adaptogenic plant because it helps the body adapt to stress.
